Russian forces fired on Chernihiv region more than 60 times in 24 hours
This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Vyacheslav Chaus, according to Ukrinform.
“The enemy launched 61 strikes on Chernihiv region over the past day. There were 96 explosions,” Chaus said.
According to him, as a result of a Molniia strike on an energy facility in the village of Novgorod-Siverskyi district, several thousand subscribers were left without electricity.
“Geranium” missiles attacked the district police department in Horodnia, with five explosions recorded. A fire broke out. There is destruction. Cars were also damaged, two of which were destroyed by fire. About a dozen residential buildings were damaged.
The head of the RMA added that in the evening, a Russian drone attacked a farm in the village of Chernihiv district once again, causing a grain storage facility to catch fire. The fire was quickly extinguished. The drone's warhead did not detonate.
