Air defense neutralize 80 of 137 Russian drones overnight
The Ukrainian Air Force reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
According to the post, since 19:00 on Thursday, December 4, the invaders launched a total of 137 drones of various types at Ukraine, including Gerbera and Shahed.
The launches were carried out from the directions of the Russian cities of Kursk, Orel, Millerovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from the Chauda area in temporarily occupied Crimea.
About 90 of the enemy targets were Shahed-type attack drones.
The attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine's Defense Forces.
By Friday morning, it was confirmed that air defense had shot down or jammed 80 Russian UAVs of various types in the north, south, east and center of the country.
Enemy strike drones hit 13 locations, with 57 impacts recorded.
As Ukrinform reported, Russians attacked Kharkiv's Osnovianskyi district with drones.
