Air defense forces neutralize 125 out of 162 drones
According to Ukrinform, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this on Telegram.
From 19:00 on Sunday, November 23, the invaders attacked Ukraine with 162 strike UAVs of the Shahed type, Herbera, and other types of drones from the directions of Kursk, Bryansk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Hvardiiske (temporarily occupied Crimea). More than 80 of them were Shahed-type drones.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, EW units and unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 09:00 on Monday, November 24, air defense forces shot down or suppressed 125 drones in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.
Hits by 37 strike UAVs were recorded at 15 locations, as well as the fall of downed targets (fragments) at one location. Civilian infrastructure facilities and private households in Kharkiv, Chernihiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions suffered the most damage. There are civilian casualties.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, four people were killed in Kharkiv as a result of a massive Russian drone attack on the evening of November 23.
