SOF unblocks neighboring unit's position, evacuate wounded in Pokrovsk sector

Soldiers of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Pokrovsk sector entered the combat zone, eliminated two invaders, captured one, and evacuated three wounded servicemen from a neighboring unit.

According to Ukrinform, the SOF Command stated this on Facebook.

A group of the 3rd SOF Regiment received the task of conducting a raid on the enemy, who had made it impossible to evacuate wounded infantrymen who were blocked at their position.

Using favorable weather conditions, operators of the SWORD GROUP unit entered the combat zone and eliminated two Russians, while another chose to surrender. The prisoner was provided with medical assistance and evacuated.

Thanks to successful actions, the neighboring unit's position was unblocked. Three wounded infantrymen were evacuated using a ground robotic system, which is now regularly used by SOF operators during missions.

The coordinated actions of the SOF group and modern technologies ensured the successful completion of the task, the report says.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Special Operations Forces units used Middle strike drones to carry out a series of strikes on Russians conducting offensive actions toward the Pokrovsk–Myrnohrad sector.
