Ukrainian Defense Forces strike Russian air defense systems and drone depots

Units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck Russian air defense systems and drone depots.

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

On March 22 and during the night of March 23, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck several key military targets belonging to the Russian aggressor.

Specifically, the air defense systems targeted included the Tor anti-aircraft missile system in the temporarily occupied town of Kurakhivka in the Donetsk region and the 2S6 Tunguska self-propelled anti-aircraft gun in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation.

The Defense Forces also struck the Nebo-U radar station in the Suponevo area of the Bryansk region.

The extent of damage to the targets is being assessed.

In addition, logistics facilities were struck, including a fuel and lubricants depot in the temporarily occupied town of Vedmezhe, Luhansk region, as well as ammunition, logistics, and rocket and artillery depots in the temporarily occupied part of the Donetsk region.

Also, a storage facility for unmanned aerial vehicles near Staromykhailivka and storage facilities for Shahed-type UAVs in Makiivka, Donetsk region, were hit.

The Russians used these facilities to support combat operations, operate air defense systems, and deploy unmanned aerial vehicles.

The extent of the damage is being assessed.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck key fuel and energy infrastructure facilities in the Russian Federation. Specifically, these include the Transneft – Port Primorsk oil terminal and the Bashneft-Ufaneftekhim oil refinery.
