Thirteen confirmed dead in Kyiv following Russian missile attack

Thirteen people have been confirmed dead in Kyiv following a Russian missile attack.

According to Ukrinform, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office announced this on Telegram.

"As of 18:40, 13 fatalities have been confirmed in Kyiv following last night's Russian attack," the statement said.

Search and rescue operations are ongoing. Preliminary reports indicate that people could still be trapped under the rubble.

In the early hours of June 17, Russia launched over 440 drones and 32 missiles across Ukraine.

Strikes targeted multiple regions, including Kyiv, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, as well as the Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, and Kyiv regions.
