Russian troops use FPV drone armed with RPG warhead to strike Kharkiv —Terekhov

Ukrinform
Last week, Russian forces deployed an FPV drone armed with an RPG-based warhead to strike Kharkiv for the first time since the full-scale invasion.

Mayor Ihor Terekhov stated in a Telegram post that Kharkiv remains one of the primary targets of enemy attacks, with seven strikes recorded in the city last week, as reported by Ukrinform.

He noted that the use of an FPV drone armed with an RPG-based warhead introduces a new and more insidious threat, signaling efforts to identify weaknesses in the city’s defenses.

According to him, 11 people were injured in the latest attacks, including a 14-year-old teenager who suffered a head injury.

Terekhov emphasized that the destruction once again affected only civilian infrastructure, with private homes, multi-story residential buildings, a printing house, and office premises sustaining damage.

As earlier reported, on the night of May 23, Russian shelling hit the Osnovianskyi, Novobavarskyi, and Shevchenkivskyi districts of Kharkiv, injuring three people, including a child.
