MoV announced automatic registration of combatant status through Diia

Minister of Veterans Affairs Nataliia Kalmykova said this in an interview with Ukrinform.

“We are also actively developing other digital services. In the near future, it will be possible to automatically register the status of a combatant, as well as persons with disabilities as a result of war. We are working to create the most convenient and accessible tools for our veterans,” Kalmykova said.

She noted that the service for issuing an electronic veteran's certificate in Diia is popular among veterans.

“The latest data shows that more than 300,000 people have already applied for their IDs through Diia,” the minister emphasized.

As reported, in September 2024, the government approved a procedure for granting combatant status automatically for the duration of martial law.
