President Zelensky: Russia’s demilitarization in Crimea may be pushed through politically

The relevant statement was made by the Head of State in an interview with Nataliia Mosiichuk, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“I believe it is possible to push Russia’s demilitarization on the territory of Ukrainian Crimea through politically. I believe it would be better. I think so. First of all, trust me, I care about those who will do it,” Zelensky said.

In his words, war is always about losses, and it is necessary to think how to make them as low as possible.

According to Zelensky, many countries are providing support to Ukraine at the moment. However, if the Ukrainian leadership makes a decision to threaten Russia’s territorial integrity, these countries would not support this.

“If I, let’s say, send our troops and decide to go for Russia’s territory, I must know for sure that these countries will not stand with me,” the President of Ukraine stressed.
