Three local residents injured in enemy shelling of Mykolaiv region

Three civilians were injured in a Russian shelling of Mykolaiv region on August 23.

The head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Kim, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

Thus, Mykolaiv district came under enemy attack.

At 15:43, 15:05, and 15:50 on August 23, Russian troops fired at the water area of Ochakiv community using artillery units and multiple launch rocket systems. There were no casualties.

At 16:21 and 18:26 on August 23, and at 03:02 on August 24, the invaders attacked the town of Ochakiv in Ochakiv community, damaging residential infrastructure and Internet lines. The information about the consequences is being clarified.

At 03:04 on August 24, the Russian army struck Kutsurub community, damaging residential buildings and commercial buildings.

"As of now, we know about three persons injured as a result of the occupiers’ shelling of Mykolaiv region. Two of them were treated on an outpatient basis, while another person is receiving all the necessary medical care in the hospital," said Kim.

In Mykolaiv itself, Pervomaisk, Voznesensk and Bashtanka districts, the day and night passed relatively calmly.

As Ukrinform reported, on the night of August 24, Russian invaders struck Vovchansk, Kharkiv region, damaging a medical facility and a civil industry facility.
