"We clearly understand that provocations are possible these days. We urge all residents of Kharkiv and the region to spend these holidays at home if possible. It means not to gather in the streets, in crowded places," Sinegubov emphasized.
He noted that security measures have been stepped up in the Kharkiv region for the National Flag Day, Kharkiv Day and Independence Day of Ukraine due to the threat of provocations by the Russian Federation.
"The Security Service of Ukraine, the National Police, and all law enforcement agencies are working in an enhanced mode. Especially during the curfew," he added.
As reported earlier, only local events are planned in Kyiv for the National Flag Day and Independence Day of Ukraine.
