Kryvyi Rih missile strike update: three killed, 25 injured

At least three civilians were killed and another 25 were injured by a Russian missile strike that hit the city of Kryvyi Rih in Dnipropetrovsk region overnight Tuesday.

That’s according to an update posted by the chief of the regional administration, Serhiy Lysak, Ukrinform reports.

“Attack on Kryvyi Rih. Three cruise missiles were shot down by PvK "Skhid". But we also have "arrivals". Civilian objects were damaged. As per tentative reports, three of the residents of a five-storey apartment block were killed and 25 people were injured, 19 of which are now in hospital,” the update reads.

Apartments from the first to the fifth floor are in flames. The blaze covered 700 square meters. Rescuers are working to put the fire out.

Three victims are reported at a private enterprise. All were hospitalized. There are likely people remaining under the rubble of the gutted warehouse. Rescuers are working to locate them. Six cars were damaged.

Four more people weer injured at another location. A building and a car went ablaze there. The fire has already been put out.

The motor park was also hit. Trucks were hit. The flames have already been put out. A farm building was destroyed.

There is also damage inflicted on the emergency rescue unit.

Emergency services are working. The consequences of this cynical attack are being clarified.

The enemy will not leave Nikopol in peace either. At night, heavy artillery shelled the Pokrovsk and Marhanets communities. The territory is being examined.
