A briefing on the current security situation in the country was held at the Office of the President for the Chinese government delegation, led by the Special Representative of the Chinese Government for Eurasian Affairs, Li Hui.

This was reported by the press service of the head of state, according to Ukrinform.

It is noted that the Head of the Office of the President, Andriy Yermak, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba, provided detailed information on the ten points of the Ukrainian Peace Formula. Yermak explained that since the aggression is taking place on the territory of our state, the Ukrainian peace plan contains comprehensive responses to all the challenges created by this war.

"We are interested in China's involvement in the implementation of the Ukrainian peace formula," he said.

The Head of the Office of the President also expressed gratitude for China's support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, emphasizing that the Ukrainian state respects the inviolability of the borders of other countries, as provided for in the UN Charter.

He reminded that Ukraine, while defending itself against the aggressor who carried out an unprovoked invasion of our territory, acts exclusively within the norms of international law and the UN Charter.

Yermak emphasized that Ukrainians strive for the establishment of a sustainable and just peace and the restoration of their territorial integrity, as envisaged by the Ukrainian peace formula.

In turn, the Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Kyrylo Budanov, and the Deputy Head of the Office of the President, Roman Mashovets, informed members of the Chinese government delegation about the situation on the front lines, enemy losses, and recent mass rocket attacks by Russia on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure, resulting in casualties among the civilian population.

Dmytro Lubinets, the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada, provided information about Ukrainian captives, both civilian and military, held by Russia. He reported on violations of the rights of civilians and military personnel, as well as war crimes committed by the Russian Federation.

Daria Herasymchuk, the President's Advisor and Authorized Representative on Children's Rights and Child Rehabilitation, specifically addressed the illegal removal of Ukrainian children by Russian occupiers and their forced adoption on the territory of the Russian Federation. She called for international efforts to return these young Ukrainians home to their families, emphasizing that children are the future of every nation.

Vice Prime Minister for Reconstruction and Minister of Community Development, Territories, and Infrastructure, Oleksandr Kubrakov, informed the Chinese government delegation about Ukraine's efforts, along with its partners Turkey and the UN, to continue the Black Sea Grain Initiative, which Russia attempted to disrupt. He stressed the importance of ensuring unhindered vessel movement through the grain corridor, as it contributes to stability in the global food market and reduces the risk of food crises in the most vulnerable countries in Asia and Africa.

Furthermore, the dangers associated with the seizure of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant by Russia were presented to the Chinese representatives by the Minister of Energy, Herman Halushchenko, and the Ambassador of Ukraine to China, Pavlo Ryabikin. They highlighted that the presence of Russian military equipment and soldiers who effectively took the plant's personnel hostage increases nuclear risks for the entire continent. They emphasized the necessity of demilitarizing the Zaporizhzhia NPP, as stipulated by the Ukrainian peace formula.
