Russian army strikes Kherson region, injuring a woman

“According to the investigation data, on May 6, Russian troops fired at a micro-district of Kherson city and suburban settlements. A woman was injured as an enemy shell slammed into a private house in one of the villages,” the Prosecutor General's Office posted on Telegram.

Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation was launched into the violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Prosecutors continue to take all appropriate and possible measures to document war crimes committed by representatives of the armed forces of the Russian Federation.

As reported, the army of the Russian Federation launched 71 strikes on Kherson region over the past day, May 5, injuring two people.
