Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) has been captured by Kadyrov’s people, and it is unknown how they can act and who they can try to blackmail in the future.

The relevant statement was made by Davyd Arakhamiya, the representative of the Ukrainian delegation in talks with the Russian Federation and the head of the Servant of the People faction, at a briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“At the moment, these nuclear power facilities are run by the so-called Kadyrov’s people, Chechen militants. They killed several employees, who had been studying for years, dozens of years, and supervising safety. Since 3 a.m. last night we had been informing the international community that we cannot guarantee, and we believe even Russia cannot guarantee, what these Chechen militants are thinking about. Later, they may blackmail Russia as well, into giving independence to Chechnya or something like that,” Arakhamiya told.

In his words, in fact, it is a terrorist group that has captured the nuclear power facilities. This must be reported to the foreign mass media, so that all of us unite in this regard.

According to Arakhamiya, during talks, the Ukrainian side offered to make a 30-kilometer no-fly conflict-free zone around nuclear power plants, so that artillery strikes could not reach them, but the Russian military had not confirmed this so far.

“The same may happen to South Ukraine NPP in Mykolaiv Region. Heavy battles are underway there at the moment, and we believe this very fact poses a high threat of international terrorism at nuclear power facilities,” Arakhamiya noted.

In his words, even if the Ukrainian and Russian delegations reach an agreement, some Russian representatives will be still held responsible for what they were doing in Ukraine.
