The Finnish Chairmanship of the OSCE has condemned recent Russian attacks on Ukraine and called on Russia to end its war of aggression.
Debris from a falling missile and several drones was recorded in the Ternopil region following a nighttime enemy attack. Minor roof damage was reported in the Chortkiv area.
Russian troops launched an attack on the village of Malokaterynivka in the Zaporizhzhia district.
As of 16:00, four people were reported killed and eight injured in Lviv region following a Russian missile and drone attack.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko held an on-site meeting in Sumy region to coordinate efforts of government agencies involved in eliminating the aftermath of Russian shelling.
As a result of Russia’s large-scale combined attack on Ukraine, the Lviv and Zaporizhzhia regions suffered the most damage. Rescue teams have already extinguished 10 of 13 fires that broke out at the sites of the strikes.
Due to a Russian combined attack on the night of October 5, Naftogaz facilities were damaged for the second time in a week — direct hits and destruction were reported.

On October 4, at around 11:40, Russian forces shelled the village of Husynka in the Kupiansk district of Kharkiv region, killing a 57-year-old woman.
On October 4, Russian invaders attacked the Nikopol and Synelnykove districts of Dnipropetrovsk region. A 71-year-old woman was injured, and private homes, a power line, and a gas pipeline were damaged.
Since the start of the counteroffensive operation on the Dobropillia axis, Russian forces have lost around 3,520 personnel, including 1,988 killed.
Approximately 30 people were injured as a result of a double, targeted Russian strike on the railway station and passenger trains in Shostka, Sumy region.
