Number of injured in Zaporizhzhia rises to nine, one person killed
This was reported on Telegram by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, according to Ukrinform.
“Last night, the enemy once again attacked Zaporizhzhia: at least ten strikes hit the city. One person was killed. Nine others were injured,” the statement reads.
Apartment blocks and private homes sustained damage, vehicles were burned, windows shattered, and courtyards were torn apart. Power and water supply disruptions were also reported.
From the first moments after the attack, rescue workers, utility crews, medical teams, energy specialists, and police were on the scene.
Initial reports indicated six people were injured.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, Russian forces launched at least ten strikes on Zaporizhzhia using drones and guided aerial bombs, leaving some districts without electricity and water.
