Russian drones strike energy facility and enterprise, causing emergency power outages in Chernihiv
According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Telegram by the Head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration, Viacheslav Chaus.
“Chernihiv was attacked by Shahed drones. One of the enterprises was hit. There is a fire at the site of the strike. The enemy also targeted an energy facility. As a result, emergency power outages are occurring in one of the city's districts,” Chaus said.
According to him, the Nizhyn district was also hit by drones. A residential building was damaged.
“The enemy also struck one of the enterprises, causing a fire. The fire was extinguished,” Chaus added.
In the Semenivka community, an administrative building was damaged by a drone strike.
It is noted that 55 shellings and more than 100 attacks in 27 settlements were recorded in the region during the day.
Hourly power outages are in effect in the Chernihiv region. Energy companies are working to minimize these restrictions.
As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of October 4, Russians damaged several power supply facilities in the Chernihiv region, leaving 50,000 consumers without power.
