Injury toll in Russian attack on Lviv region rises to eight, with four killed

As of 16:00, four people were reported killed and eight injured in Lviv region following a Russian missile and drone attack.

According to Ukrinform, the Lviv Police reported this on Facebook.

“Lviv police continue to document the consequences of the combined missile and drone attacks across the city and region. As of 16:00, four people have died and eight have been injured,” the statement reads.

Police have received 173 reports of property damage and destruction. Investigators have confirmed damage to residential buildings, industrial facilities, schools, religious sites, warehouses, garages, and vehicles. Explosive ordnance disposal specialists are examining the attack sites.

Approximately 1,000 Lviv police officers are involved in documenting and responding to this latest war crime carried out by Russian forces against civilians.

Rescue workers and other emergency services are also operating on the ground.

Earlier reports confirmed that in the village of Lapaivka, a family of four, including a 15-year-old girl, was killed.
