Ukraine's Shakhtar Donetsk have defeated Portugal's Benfica 2-1 in the first leg of their Europa League last-32 tie.
The match took place at the Metalist Stadium in Kharkiv on Thursday, February 20. Alan Patrick (56) and Viktor Kovalenko (72) scored for Shakhtar Donetsk, and Pizzi (67, penalty) scored for Benfica.
The return game will be held in Lisbon on February 27.
The draw for the Europa League Round of 16 will be made on February 28.
