Ukrainian intelligence refutes false reports of tensions with President’s Office

Ukrinform
Anonymous Telegram channels have been spreading false information aimed at discrediting Ukrainian intelligence services and destabilizing the situation inside Ukraine.

The Defense Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU) reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

The DIU highlighted the active dissemination of fake reports in anonymous channels, which show signs of a coordinated information campaign intended to discredit Ukrainian intelligence agencies and create instability within the country.

The circulated claims about DIU representatives, the NGO Tin, and an alleged conflict between the DIU and the Office of the President of Ukraine are false, the intelligence service emphasized.

“The goal is to create a false impression of domestic political tension and instability within Ukraine,” the DIU stated.
