In the temporarily occupied city of Kakhovka, Kherson Region, a Russian flag has disappeared from the flagpole.

The relevant statement was made by journalist Oleh Baturin on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The ‘biggest flag of Russia’ is no longer flying,” Baturin wrote, posting the photograph.

In addition, Kakhovka City Territorial Community shared the photographs of the city decorated with yellow and blue ribbons and drawings.

A reminder that local residents have been showing peaceful resistance in Kherson Region since the Russian invasion started. It has not stopped but transformed, as Russian occupation forces are getting increasingly brutal.
