Citizens of Ukraine and a number of other countries will be able to visit Georgia from March 1 if they have a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours.

According to RFE/RL's Echo of the Caucasus, people arriving in Georgia must be re-tested for COVID-19 at their own expense on the third day of their stay in the country.

Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili explained that these measures apply to those who cross the Georgian border by air. Land borders remain closed to foreigners.

In addition to Ukrainians, citizens of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus will also be able to come to Georgia.
