More than 12,500 cases of ARVI and flu recorded in Kyiv

More than 12,500 cases of influenza and acute respiratory viral infection (ARVI) have been recorded in the city of Kyiv, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

"In addition to the coronavirus disease, seasonal illnesses, in particular influenza and ARVI, have become aggravated. As of today, more than 12,500 cases of influenza and ARVI have been registered in the capital," Klitschko said at a briefing on November 30.

He noted that almost 5,000 children and more than 7,700 adults are ill.

As reported, some 9,946 new COVID-19 cases were laboratory confirmed in Ukraine on November 30, bringing the total to 732,625.
