Pension indexation in Ukraine scheduled for May 1 – Pension Fund

The issue of pensions indexation in 2020 is envisaged in the government’s resolution on “Some issues of increasing pension benefits and providing social support to certain categories of population in 2020” of April 1, 2020, No.251,

“The resolution specifies the date of pension indexation in 2020: May 1. The recalculation of pensions will be carried out considering the coefficient of an increase in the average salary (income) in Ukraine, from which insurance contributions are paid, and which is taken into account for the pension assessment, in the amount of 1.11,” the Pension Fund wrote on Facebook.

According to the Pension Fund, the payment of recalculated pensions would be carried out starting from May 2020 in line with the established procedure.
