Contemporary art festival Mykolaiv Art Week kicks off today

The second contemporary art festival Mykolaiv Art Week will be held in Mykolaiv on October 5-14, according to the website of Mykolaiv City Council.
“In Mykolaiv, the second contemporary art festival Mykolaiv Art Week will be held on October 5-14. We launched the project last year to draw the attention of Mykolaiv residents to modern contemporary Ukrainian art. Then our team held a 4-day festival and received a huge amount of positive feedback. Therefore, this year we decided to expand the event,” said one of the festival organizers, Dmytro Larchenko.
This year the festival extended its borders and received international status. It includes eight art spaces and galleries of the city. The program includes photo exhibitions, film and animation shows, lectures, workshops, photomarathon, art industry forum and theatrical performance.
