UATV Channel launches website for whole world – Information Policy Ministry

This was reported by the press service of the Information Policy Ministry of Ukraine.

"On February 12, 2018, the website of the Ukrainian international broadcasting TV channel UA | TV was officially launched. It is a part of the Ukrainian multimedia platform for broadcasting. The test version of the website was available from February 5," the report reads.

Ukraine’s Information Policy Minister Yuriy Stets notes that Ukrainian multimedia platform for broadcasting develops on a daily basis: UA | TV Channel is connected to the world cable networks and innovative platforms of the world broadcasting.

"Now we have our own information portal of the Ukrainian international broadcasting. It opens the possibility to read news about Ukraine from primary sources in five languages: Ukrainian, Russian, English, Crimean Tatar and Arabic. The two latter are now working in a test mode," Stets said.

The minister adds that thanks to the launch of the website of UA | TV Channel, together with Ukrinform news agency, Ukraine will "broadcast" in nine languages, which allows attracting readers from different countries.
