About 1.6 million IDPs registered in Ukraine - Social Policy Ministry

A total of 1,586,135 internally displaced persons (IDPs) from Crimea and Donbas have been registered in Ukraine.
This has been reported by the press service of the Social Policy Ministry.
"As of August 28, 2017, according to data from the structural departments of social protection of the population of the regional and Kyiv city state administrations, 1,586,135 IDPs or 1,276,900 families from Donbas and Crimea have been registered," reads the report.
The ministry also notes that over UAH 1.89 billion was paid to recipients of assistance as of August 28.
