The 16th meeting of the Steering Committee of the Donor Platform for Ukraine took place in Kyiv.

According to Ukrinform, Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko announced this on Telegram.

“I had the honor of opening the meeting and presenting to our partners the key priorities in the areas of resilience-building and recovery,” she wrote.

Svyrydenko identified energy as the top priority. During this heating season, Ukraine received over EUR 600 million in contributions to the Energy Support Fund, which helped ensure equipment reserves and rapid repairs following Russian attacks.

The head of government presented donors with comprehensive plans to ensure the energy resilience of the regions for the next heating season, with a total cost of EUR 5.4 billion.

"Funding will be partially provided through the state and local budgets. At the same time, given the serious challenges the state faces in wartime, as well as the broad funding needs across various sectors, we are counting on substantial support from international partners and donors to meet these needs—both through financial contributions and by supplying the necessary equipment," Svyrydenko noted.

She also emphasized that Ukraine is steadily moving forward on the path to European integration. In particular, Ukraine is working to close all negotiation clusters this year, with a special focus on requirements related to the rule of law.
