Zelensky: Ukraine providing tangible support to Gulf states, first results already visible
Volodymyr Zelensky made this statement in an evening address, according to Ukrinform.
“Only with Ukraine is real stability possible here in Europe, as well as real protection. And, as we can see, this is also true in other parts of the world that clearly need our experience and our support in protecting lives,” the head of state noted.
According to the President, Ukraine is already working with the Gulf countries and is in daily contact with them at the operational level to ensure that Ukraine’s experience and support translate into long-term cooperation and respect for Ukraine and our soldiers.
Zelensky noted that Ukraine is providing expertise and tangible support, and Ukrainian units have already achieved concrete results in the defense effort.
As the head of state emphasized, other countries should also contribute to stabilization. Intelligence reports indicate that Russia is currently annoyed by the fact that Ukrainians are needed by the world and can help with stabilization.
“We all need joint solutions and joint efforts to ensure greater security for everyone,” Zelensky emphasized, thanking everyone who contributes to coordination and joint results.
According to him, this is precisely what is most unacceptable to countries like Russia—when the nations of the world do not stand alone, and when peoples are not left alone with the occupier.
Separately, the President honored all Ukrainian defenders of the skies, particularly the soldiers of the 96th Kyiv Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade, all electronic warfare units, army aviation helicopter crews, F-16 and Mirage pilots, every crew of interceptor drones, and especially the crews of the 1020th Anti-Aircraft Missile and Artillery Regiment and the 302nd Kharkiv Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade.
“Thank you for the fact that Ukraine’s experience in defending its skies is one of the strongest in the world and is, in particular, what will ensure that Ukraine remains among the main contributors to security even after this war—among those whom the world will need to ensure security,” the head of state emphasized.
As reported by Ukrinform, drawing on the experience of the war in Ukraine, the North Atlantic Alliance has launched a new training program for all its members called Audacious Training, involving Ukrainian specialists.
According to Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha, Ukraine’s unique defense capabilities and experience in protecting lives are of great interest not only to the Gulf states. Countries around the world are watching events in the Middle East and seeing how cost-effective and technologically advanced Ukraine’s capabilities are.
