Negotiation team outlines pending elements of post-war reconstruction for US agreement, says Zelensky

The president announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“Together with our negotiating team and government officials, we identified the areas in the agreement with the United States on post-war recovery that need to be worked through in more depth. Work with the American side is progressing actively, and on the Ukrainian side, we are working with maximum efficiency,” he wrote.

The video posted in the message states that, in particular, the parameters for raising and using funds for reconstruction need to be worked out.

Zelensky expressed his gratitude to the representatives of the President of the United States for their constructive approach to the negotiations.

“We must achieve results as quickly as possible,” he added.

As reported by Ukrinform, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that a new meeting between the teams of Ukraine, the US, and Russia could take place as early as Sunday, February 1.
