Zelensky names members of Ukrainian delegation for trilateral meeting in UAE
President Volodymyr Zelensky said this while speaking to the press at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Ukrinform reports.
"Our group will go, there will be a trilateral meeting. Umerov, Budanov, Kyslytsia, Arakhamia will be there. And I asked that Hnatov fly out from Kyiv. The military must be present. This will be a trilateral meeting at the level of negotiators. We will see what the result will be," Zelensky said.
He added that the negotiating team would travel to the UAE for the meeting, which will last two days, January 23-24.
"I don't know the results, we will see. They will be ready to discuss different points of this plan. I will have connections with them," he emphasized.
He expressed hope that if all sides work actively, "we will end this war."
"But if somebody will play games, I do not know who, but I'm just sharing with you, if somebody will play games, the war will continue," Zelensky said.
As Ukrinform previously reported, U.S. President's special envoy Steve Witkoff said that on Thursday he would travel to Moscow together with Jared Kushner, where they would meet with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
