Ukraine, China hold political consultations
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said this in a statement seen by Ukrinform.
"The sides discussed current issues on the bilateral agenda, outlined plans for further contacts at the highest and high levels, considered ways to strengthen trade and economic cooperation, and addressed issues of interaction within international organizations," the ministry said.
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry added that the parties also held an in-depth exchange of views on the current situation related to Russia's ongoing armed aggression against Ukraine, as well as on international efforts aimed at achieving a sustainable and lasting peace.
The parties reaffirmed that mutual respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity is the foundation of Ukrainian-Chinese relations.
As part of his working visit to Beijing, Kyslytsya also met with Chinese experts and analysts, as well as with the diplomats of partner countries.
