A conference on establishing an International Claims Commission has begun in The Hague, with the participation of President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Before Zelensky’s speech, Council of Europe Secretary General Alain Berset stated that the Convention on the Establishment of an International Claims Commission would be signed today.

Today, here in The Hague, 35 states will sign this Convention, Berset said.

He emphasized that every instance of damage must be recorded and compensated.

As reported by Ukrinform, Zelensky is in the Netherlands on a visit today. The program of the visit includes meetings with the President of Moldova, Maia Sandu, and the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Dick Schoof, as well as an audience with King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands.

The program of the President of Ukraine’s stay in the Netherlands also includes a visit to the Aardenburg Military Rehabilitation Center (MRC Aardenburg).
