Zelensky to NATO PA: some components for Russian missiles and drones still come from Europe
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said this in a video address to participants of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly session taking place in Ljubljana, Slovenia, Ukrinform reports.
“We also need pressure on those in your countries who continue to supply critical components for Russian drones and missiles. Not Russian missile or drone would fly without parts from other countries,” Zelensky said.
He emphasized that this issue concerns not only China and Taiwan, as some components are still being delivered to Russia from European countries and other states whose companies “still cooperate with Russia’s manufacturers of death.”
“Our team can provide all the facts, and we are ready to share any information you need,” the President told the lawmakers.
Zelensky called on members of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly to bring this information to the attention of their respective governments.
“By stopping Russia now, you are not only helping us to protect our lives — you are helping yourselves. You spare your leaders from having to do what I do — appeal to the world for help if Russian drones, missiles, and soldiers become a threat to you,” he concluded.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, in September 2025, Russia used 7,313 drones and 270 missiles of various types against Ukraine, which contained approximately 676,000 foreign-made components.
