If Russian drones had caused deaths or injuries in Poland, Warsaw’s response would have been much tougher.

Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski said this in an interview with The Guardian, according to Ukrinform.

Sikorski noted that the Polish reaction would have been “much tougher” if last week’s Russian drone incidents had resulted in casualties on Polish territory.

However, the Foreign Minister declined to specify what Warsaw’s response might be in a future scenario.

“With an aggressor and a liar like Putin, only the toughest counter-pressures work,” he said.

Earlier, Sikorski dismissed U.S. President Donald Trump’s suggestion that it could have been a mistake, pointing out that too many drones were involved.

As reported, overnight on September 10, Polish airspace was repeatedly violated by Russian drones.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said 19 airspace breaches were recorded, with some drones coming from Belarus. He added that for the first time, Russian drones were shot down over NATO territory.
