Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration - Minister for Communities and Territories Development Oleksii Kuleba announced the development of a separate program of comprehensive support for Ukraine’s frontline regions. The initiative will focus on people, businesses, and communities affected by the war.

He shared the news on Telegram following a working visit to the Kharkiv region, according to Ukrinform.

"At the initiative of the President of Ukraine, we are preparing a separate program of comprehensive support for the frontline regions with clearly defined tools for people, communities and businesses. Among other things, we are developing a mechanism for raising salaries for teachers, doctors and government employees in these regions," the statement said.

The government is also considering the possibility of introducing state-funded coverage of the first mortgage payment for families living and working in the frontline regions.

In addition, the new program will include a range of opportunities and special conditions for entrepreneurs, such as a reduction in the tax burden and an increase in the percentage of booked employees at enterprises located and operating directly in the frontline and border areas.

"The program will cover all levels - from supporting a particular family to attracting investors and guarantees for employers. It is about a sustainable presence in difficult areas, about protecting the economy, about preserving communities," Kuleba said.

As reported, on August 4, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky visited the Kharkiv region.
