Zelensky: Ukraine to share data with U.S. on Russian damage to energy in Kherson

President Volodymyr Zelensky said that he had ordered the Minister of Defense to prepare and transmit information to the United States about the damage to the energy facility in Kherson today.

He said this during a press conference following a meeting of leaders on support for Ukraine and security in Europe in Paris, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The Americans say that they believe that the silence at sea and the silence in the energy sector is working. I believe the following: two days ago there was a night when there were no strikes on the energy sector. Today, the energy sector in Kherson was damaged by Russian artillery. This is how it works,” Zelensky said.

He noted that he had ordered the Minister of Defense to convey to the United States information about Russian violations of the ceasefire on energy infrastructure facilities, a decision that was reached in Saudi Arabia.

“We clearly understand where the shots were fired, what was destroyed, what was lost. Believe me, after three years of war, we can clearly see what they are shooting at with evidence, with footage, with video, with everything. We have it all. We will prepare all this. The Minister of Defense received this order from me. It will be prepared and handed over to the United States. And after that, we expect the United States to respond, as they told us they would respond to violations,” the President said.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Zelensky said that the silence at sea and the ceasefire on energy facilities should begin from the moment the US statements on the outcome of the talks in Saudi Arabia are published, that is, on March 25.
