Zelensky meets with Crown Prince Regent of Norway

The parties discussed strengthening cultural ties between the two countries and further support for the humanitarian program Grain from Ukraine. According to Ukrinform, the Head of State announced this in his Telegram.

“We talked about strengthening cultural ties between our countries and further support for the humanitarian program Grain from Ukraine. All of us in Ukraine greatly appreciate the defense and humanitarian support from Norway and the country's efforts to develop a European plan to achieve a just peace and reliable security guarantees,” Zelensky emphasized.

As reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky is on a visit to Norway on Thursday, March 20. In addition to talks with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, several other meetings are expected. Finance Minister Jens Stoltenberg, Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide, and Defense Minister Tore Sandvik will also attend a working meeting with the delegation accompanying the President of Ukraine.
