U.S. President Donald Trump has ended his conversation with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, which lasted over an hour and a half.

NBC News reported this on Tuesday, citing a White House official, according to Ukrinform.

"A White House official told NBC News the call between Trump and Putin is over. The call lasted over an hour and a half," the report said.

No further details have been provided.

Trump and Putin spoke by phone on Tuesday, March 18. During the conversation, White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino stated that everything "is going well." At the time, U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio were present at the White House.

Earlier, Trump announced his intention to discuss ending the war in Ukraine with Putin.
