Sikorski responds to Musk's hints about disabling Starlink for Ukraine’s Army

This was stated via X by the head of the Polish Foreign Ministry, Radosław Sikorski in response to the post by SpaceX owner Elon Musk, who claimed Ukraine’s front would collapse without his Starlink terminals.

"Starlinks for Ukraine are paid for by the Polish Digitization Ministry at the cost of about $50 million per year.The ethics of threatening the victim of aggression apart, if SpaceX proves to be an unreliable provider we will be forced to look for other suppliers," Sikorski wrote.

Earlier, Elon Musk's comment on the X network, where he emphasized that the Starlink system is "the backbone of the Ukrainian army" and, if this satellite services are turned off, Ukraine’s “entire front line would collapse". Musk also emphasized he is "sickened by is years of slaughter in a stalemate," calling for immediate peace.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, as of today, Poland has ordered almost 25,000 Starlink terminals for Ukraine. A standard subscription for servicing each terminal costs Warsaw almost UAH 5,500 per month, while a special subscription costs UAH 14,000.
