Suspension of aid to Ukraine: Czech PM calls on Europe to move decisively from words to action

“President Trump's decision highlights the urgent need for a fundamental shift in Europe's current policy. We must strengthen our economic and military capabilities and take full responsibility for our own security. This requires increased investment in defence. Ensuring our security also means intensifying our support for Ukraine. We cannot allow Russia’s aggressive policy, which threatens us all, to succeedl,” the Czech Prime Minister emphasized.
He added that the era of “relying on others to address fundamental international challenges on our behalf is over.”
“Now is the time for Europe to move decisively from words to action,” Fiala emphasized.
Earlier, the media reported, citing a senior official in the US Department of Defense, that Trump had ordered the suspension of all military aid to Ukraine.
The White House has not officially confirmed the suspension of U.S. aid.
At the same time, on Tuesday, March 4, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that the information about the suspension of US military aid to Ukraine was confirmed by the work of the hub in Poland, through which foreign military aid is delivered to Ukraine.
