Simmons to Ukrainians: Britain stands with you until victory and after it
Simmons said this in her farewell address in Ukrainian, Ukrinform reports.

The British ambassador thanked everyone who supported her during her diplomatic tenure in Kyiv.
"I am proud that we were together in these difficult times. Ukraine will win, and we will definitely meet again. Great Britain stands with you till the end, until and after the victory," Simmons said.
Melinda Simmons took up the position of Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Ukraine in the summer of 2019. Martin Harris has been appointed as the new Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Ukraine instead of Simmons.
The British diplomat will begin his duties in September.
Harris was already in Kyiv in 2003-2008, working as deputy head of the mission and consul general.
