Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed his condolences to the families of those killed in terrorist attacks in Jerusalem.

As reported by Ukrinform, the head of state wrote this on his Twitter account.

"We share the pain of the people of Israel after the terrorist attacks in Jerusalem. Among the victims is a Ukrainian woman. Sincere condolences to the victims' families. The crimes were cynically committed on the International Holocaust Remembrance Day," Zelensky said.

"Terror must have no place in today's world. Neither in Israel nor in Ukraine," he said.

Ukraine strongly condemns the terrible terrorist attacks in Jerusalem, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said.

"Shocking reports of heinous terror acts in Jerusalem. Ukraine condemns them in the strongest terms possible. I am desolated to learn that among innocent victims was a Ukrainian national. My heart goes out to the close ones of all the injured and victims," Kuleba wrote on Twitter.

Late on January 27, 2023, at least seven people were killed and three more injured in a deadly shooting at a synagogue in East Jerusalem. Early on January 28, 2023, two men were injured in a new shooting attack near the Old City of Jerusalem.
