Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland Zbigniew Rau have begun an extraordinary meeting in Kyiv.

"I am pleased to welcome Zbigniew Rau on his extraordinary visit to Kyiv. It is important to enhance the Ukraine-Poland strategic partnership as Russia counties to elevate security threats for Ukraine, Europe and the Transatlantic community," Kuleba posted on Twitter.

He noted that Poland is Ukraine’s long-standing ally and trusted friend.

As Ukrinform reported, the Polish Foreign Ministry called this visit "extraordinary and urgent" in connection with the threat to peace near the borders of Ukraine.
