CinC Syrskyi orders inspection of frontline military logistics
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.
“The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, has instructed commanders of operational groupings and corps commanders to inspect the organization of logistical support for servicemen carrying out missions on the forward edge of the defense by May 20,” the statement said.
He also ordered measures to ensure the availability of transport and evacuation vehicles, ground robotic systems, and other necessary equipment.
The directive comes after reports appeared on social media from relatives of soldiers of Ukraine’s 14th Mechanized Brigade, describing difficult conditions on positions, including shortages of food, water, and medicine. The situation sparked public concern and prompted attention from senior military leadership.
The Joint Forces Command has launched a broader inspection across the entire command structure of the 10th Corps and stressed the need to prevent similar cases and to report problems directly and in a timely manner to higher command.
