Poroshenko to take part in solemn events on Flag Day, hold military parade on Independence Day

On the occasion of the National Flag Day, President Petro Poroshenko will take part in hoisting the national flag on August 23 and open an exhibition of arms and military equipment. On August 24, the Head of State will hold a military parade.
This has been reported by the press service of the Head of State.
The ceremony of hoisting the national flag will begin at 9 o'clock on Sofiivska Square.
On the same day, at 12:30, Poroshenko will open the exhibition of weapons and military equipment at Khreshchatyk.
On Thursday, August 24, the Head of State will start celebrations on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of Ukraine's Independence with the ceremony of laying flowers to the monuments of Taras Shevchenko and Mykhailo Hrushevsky.
The military parade will begin at 10:00 on Independence Square.
