Omelian wants to introduce additional resource to restore infrastructure of Donbas

Infrastructure Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelian proposes to introduce an additional resource to restore infrastructure in Luhansk and Donetsk regions.
He stated this today at a government meeting on Friday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"Restoration of the infrastructure in Donbas is of critical importance. We must contribute to the birth of a new Donbas, and this can be done by new roads, railway communications, as well as air travel in the future. We would be grateful for support to the Government and the Parliament if it is possible to introduce an additional resource for this purpose," the minister said.
As a reminder, during a working trip to Luhansk and Donetsk regions on August 16, Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelian said that the Infrastructure Ministry of Ukraine would soon represent a special program on the renewal and development of Donbas infrastructure.
