New patrol police take oath in Chernihiv city outside Cossacks’ church

In a festive atmosphere, outside Cossacks’ St.Catherine's Church, where 211 new Chernihiv city patrol police took the oath today.

"Serve the law well, and serve the people, respect yourselves and confidently make complex decisions," first deputy minister of internal affairs Eka Zguladze told the new police personnel who were present at the ceremony.

According to her, Chernihiv city became the 12th city in Ukraine where new patrol police operate. And in cities, where they began working, the residents’ trust in the police increases every day. In the next three months the new police will patrol the streets of 29 cities in our state.
