Ukraine diplomat Zerkal reports to EU on progress of visa liberalization

Ukraine will inform the European Commission about the progress in the implementation of the Action Plan on visa liberalization on Tuesday, November 24.

The Ukrainian delegation at the session of senior officials on visa free dialogue in Brussels, Belgium, is led by Deputy Foreign Minister for European Integration of Ukraine Olena Zerkal, the Ukrinform own Brussels correspondent reports.

As previously reported, the European Commission will publish its report that notes progress in the implementation by Ukraine of the Action Plan on visa liberalization for short-term travel of Ukrainian citizens to the EU on December15. If the European Commission makes positive conclusions, it will recommend Member States and the European Parliament to abolish the visa regime for Ukraine.
